The UIndy Advantage
While at UIndy students have the opportunity to learn from sport industry professionals, through in-class lectures and class projects. Students have completed projects with the NCAA, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indy Parks and Recreation, and USA Diving, to name a few. These applied learning experiences, combined with opportunities to volunteer at the nation's premiere sporting events and the requirement to complete 2 sport industry internships, provide students with the skills and networking essential for the aspiring sport professional. Also, the program offers small class sizes (faculty to student ratio of 15:1), ensuring personal attention to student needs.
Indiana's First Accredited Program
The UIndy sport management programs were the first to receive accreditation from the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). COSMA recognizes excellence in sport management education worldwide with accreditation principles that are based upon best practices and the advancement of academic quality.
Get your degree while working full time. With a hybrid course model, our content is predominately delivered in an online format. However, courses also include a face to face component in which current practitioners with a variety of experience in sport administration supplement content with personal examples and advice to enhance the learning experience—making it easy for students to advance their careers while maintaining current employment.
