Research and teaching in HHP has an impact on almost every aspect of the human condition. The department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management places the college firmly in a position to influence and improve an array of societal problems and challenges.

The College of Health and Human Performance is committed to helping students develop the skills and knowledge to become valuable assets to their communities and athletic organizations around the globe. Graduates of our programs go on to pursue careers in a variety of different fields, including research, sport leadership, event management and recreation. We’re proud of our extensive network of alumni and the contributions they’ve made to the creation of a better world.

We also offer online versions of our on-campus programming, which meet the same high standards of academic quality. The content of each online course is designed and taught by our expert faculty, offering students access to comprehensive learning materials from anywhere.

Bachelor of Science in Sport Management - Hybrid

The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management enables students to ethically apply the fundamental concepts of management, marketing, finance, and law to sport organizations. Coursework prepares students for a wide range of opportunities in the sport industry, including positions with professional, collegiate, and amateur sport organizations.

The University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance is dedicated to meeting the needs of time and location bound students. We offer the B.S. in Sport Management both on-campus and online; allowing students to complete the last 60 hours of our degree programs from anywhere in the world.

Master of Science in Sport Management - Campus & Online - Hybrid

The Master of Science in Sport Management is designed by UF’s expert faculty to reflect the latest advances in the field of sport, presenting an equally theoretical and practical approach to skills and knowledge critical to success in the industry. Through its broad but rigorous curriculum, the program can help you develop your leadership abilities and administrative proficiency with an eye towards sport management, aiding the development of a specialized and comprehensive skill-set. Graduates can pursue a wide variety of advanced career paths in areas of sport ranging from finance to event coordination to marketing. Job placement is enhanced through contacts made in practicum and internship experiences.

Space in the on-campus program is limited and filled with eligible, accepted students on a first-come- first-served basis. Students who meet the admissions requirements after the on-campus program has reached capacity will be automatically considered for the online program.

The online MS in Sport Management mirrors the curriculum of the on-campus version, providing access to the program’s learning materials and live interaction with expert faculty through an accessible distance learning platform.
